As she flirts with empty nest syndrome, Kelly Wingard, aka,”The World’s Oldest Legislative Intern” also works in Springfield as a legislative analyst on the Illinois Senate Republican staff, and will earn her Master of Legal Studies degree from UIS this summer. Employed seasonally at Kates Tax Service, she’s currently up to her multi-tasked neck in IRS business.
